NEET Exemption for admission to MBBS ?

States like Tamil Nadu are banking on exemption from NEET for admissions into MBBS. TamilNadu presents an unique case as the majority of the students study under State Syllabus but the NEET exam is based on CBSE syllabus. Its important that NEET UG and PG are under the scanner for not following the OBC reservation. This comes after all party representation was made from Tamil Nadu to implement OBC reservation. The supreme court made a controversial remark stating ” reservation is not a fundamental right”.

Subject: Conduct of AIIMS Entrance Examination-regarding.
The undersigned is directed to refer to MoHFW’s D.O. letter No.V16020/103/2020-INI-I dated 2″cl June, 2020 addressed to Home Secretary on the subject mentioned above wherein this Ministry had been requested to direct all the Chief Secretaries for providing the necessary support for smooth conduct of AIIMS Entrance Examination.
2. Regarding allowing movement of candidates and Support staff/ observers for the examination center, it is to mentioned that as per Para 6 (i) of the Guidelines for Phased Re-opening (Unlock-1) issued vide MHA Order dated 30.05.2020, there is no restriction on Inter-State or Intra-State movement of persons and no separate permission/ approval/ e-permit will be required for such movement.
3. With regard to other issues like conducting AIIMS Entrance Examination and allowing opening of examination centers, all activities related to preparation and conduct of examination and support of local authority for necessary administrative facilitation and security for conduct of AIIMS Entrance Examination, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare may take up the matter directly with the State/ UT Governments at their end. 51 c,0-01.—wo ( anoj Kasaha Second-In-Command (DM-I) Tele: 011-23438123

Reporting on Acute Encephalistis Syndrome(AES) in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, reporter Anajana Om Kashyap entered the ICU without the standard requirement of sterile dress and gown. She went on to ask illogical questions to the doctor and the nurse who were on duty about the lack of beds and delay in attending to the patients insted of asking the leaders who visited earlier that day. The outrageous and uncivil behavior of the journalist has invited criticism from both medical fraternity and journalist for sensationaising an issue deviating from the real cause of the event.
