JIPMER 2012 MD/MS/Diploma results are out.  Here is the official notification from JIPMER

The list of eligible candidates who had qualified for counseling to Postgraduate (MD/MS) course – Session – 2012 based on the Entrance Examination conducted on 12th

February 2012 is hereby notified. Tie-break for candidates with equal marks and counseling by Roster-Point allocation is being followed as per the Prospectus.

Rank card will be available for downloading by the candidates from 21st February 2012. Further details on counseling will be available in the website in due course.

AIIMS, which scheduled the AIPGMEE-2012 ( All India PostGraduate Medical Entrance Exams 2012) results to February 15 has delayed the publishing of results citing the following.

Postponement of Declaration of Result of AIPGMEE-2012

This is for information to the candidate who appeared in All India PG Medical/Dental Entrance Examination 2012 that Directorate General of Health Services has filed an I.A. before Hon’ble Supreme Court of India for seeking permission to do on-line counseling ( on-line seat allotment) in place of counseling by personal appearance and increasing number of candidate allotment process. In this connection the result of All India PG Medical/Dental Entrance Examination 2012 will be declared in due course of time after getting
approval from the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

Tamil Nadu – MD/MS/Mch/Diploma/MDS entrance exam notification is out. This time, the application forms have to be downloaded online from  tngov.in or tnhealth.org .

The prospectus states

“Applications  can only be downloaded from the websites www.tnhealth.org and www.tn.gov.in  and the filled application along with necessary enclosures and 3 self addressed envelopes 23 X 10 cms sent to the Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai -10  before the last date along with a Demand Draft for    1250/- which is non refundable towards the cost of application form drawn in favour of The Secretary, Selection Committee payable at Chennai. Applications without the Demand Draft  will not be accepted. The name of the candidate and the name of the course (PG/MDS) should be written on the reverse of the Demand Draft. SC/ SCA and ST candidates who are natives of Tamil Nadu are exempted from payment of the cost of the Application Form”

So there would be no issue of forms from Medical Colleges as in previous years.

All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam (AIPGMEE 2012) was conducted on 8th January 2012 with over One lakh medical students betting their chance to get the elusive entrance seat. The exam was marred with a lot of controversies. The question paper was weird markedly deviating from the usual “repeat based pattern”. The question paper was supposedly leaked and some resorted to arranging dummy students which eventually was busted. Many students filed petitions and online medical forums we filled with frustrated students asking for a re-exam. AIIMS has snubbed all these requests, announcing the publishing of results would go on as usual.

Announced Date of Results: 15th February 2012

Any change in schedule will be intimated to all commentors .
